Branches Domestic Violence Shelter
Branches DVS is committed to helping survivors of domestic and relationship violence regain independence and find a dedicated support system to help with each step along the way to finding help. In addition to direct services at the shelter, their team also travels to schools, universities, and community events to address the importance of emotional intelligence and knowing the signs of abuse for one's self and others. About the Leadership
Branches Domestic Violence Shelter was established as a non-profit agency in 1980. Branches works to empower the increasing number of domestic violence victims and their families to break the cycle of domestic violence in our area.
Branches has two operational emergency housing shelters and three outreach offices in adjoining counties, Mason, Putnam, Wayne, & Lincoln, to provide additional resources. The second operational emergency shelter is located in Putnam County.
